Port Aransas is in a bird migratory path and there are many beautiful birds. This is a great place to hike, have views and see birds. Check to be sure it has reopened.

Most people never make it to "The Back of the Island". There is a whole other waterfront world back there. A great place to fish along the channel, watch the ships go by and spot several dolphin. They love to play in the wake ahead of the bow of the big ships. The kids get so excited!

The BEST sunsets 🌇 on the island! They also have nice hiking trails, clean bathrooms and areas to do some great fishing 🎣
