Writer/director Michael Moore brings film treasures and producer's hopefuls to some really cool local venues. Traverse City now competes with Sundance and the Cannes film festivals. TCFF takes over Traverse City in late July.

The film festival is a terrific event! highly recommend going to open viewing on the big screen on the bay!

Runs about a week starting the last weekend in July to first weekend in August. Fabulous movies -- the best and the worst. Great crowds, and I'll bet you won't feel taken advantage of. They feature free movies on the downtown beach area every night of the festival.
