Dunino is an interesting village to visit. Dunino's not far from Anstruther on the road to St Andrews. There's a magical experience to be had at the "Den" when you find it through a nature walk. Please take care on the steps down.

This is a medieval site situated near to Dunino church. It has a stream, ancient stone pictures, medieval staircase, and is very often found with offerings of pictures, dream catchers etc. The site has an eyrie feel yet tranquil and beautiful.

A few minutes car journey takes you to the magical Dunino Den. Follow a path from the church down to the river, where you will find druid carvings and markings.

Believed by many to be haunted by fairies and other creatures of Celtic legend, the Dunino Den and its surrounding features definitely create a supernatural atmosphere.
