Hiking trail with scenic outlook over Lake Michigan. Good for first time hikers all the way up to experienced hikers. Hike as far or as little as you want.

A nice hike and beautiful view. If you're feeling ambitious, you can run down to the water and head back up the super steep dune at the end of the trail.

Take the trail to Baldy Overlook for the definitive best view in northern Michigan. A quick, easy hike that is just over half a mile through the woods each way. This is one of the few spots in the area that is still lesser-known, but it cannot be beaten. Trust me on this one.

“This is one of my favorite hikes! It overlooks Lake Michigan and Empire Beach on Lake Michigan. Watch out for poison ivy. It is best to stay on trails because there is poison ivy everywhere! ”
