a small state park located roughly 65 miles from the cabin and located in Presque Isle Maine- there is a small pond with kayaks and canoes available for use as well as a couple hiking trails. If you are traveling north be on the look out for the solar system- various sculptures of the planets are located along route one up to Presque Isle

Beautiful state park with hiking trails, a lake for swimming, kayaking, fishing and canoeing. Kayak and canoes rental are available. There are picnic tables with small charcoal grills and a playground available as well. The park is 12 miles away. Nominal entrance fee charged at the gate.

This is about a mile down the road. They have hiking, skiing, kayaking, canoeing.

Small but with a variety of outdoor activities, including seasonal bird counts and snowshoe trails. Located just two miles south of Presque Isle, the Aroostook State Park has a nice lake, small mountain to climb, and good skiing trails.

Awesome hiking trails for hikers of all abilities.B ring a bike or kayak for a little extra fun. Pet friendly and only a quick 20 minute drive. Hike up North Peak for some amazing local views.
