This is a real gem in the Chicago Area. It is a great place to walk around. The gardens are beautiful.

The Chicago Botanic Gardens has many acres of beautiful landscape. It is perfect for some family photos or just to get out an enjoy nature.

Trust me--it's a nice place to spend a day. Christmas season is very nice with lots of lights. Fall is great with their Pumpkin festival. There is a small restaurant (nothing fancy) also.
