Set directly on the beach, also now at Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beach. All these restaurants offer fine dining service as well as a cafe service for the beach.
A real treat destination. A bit pricey but worth it. Excellent fish and seafood and locally grown produce. Extensive wine list includes Cornish wine from Camel Valley.
“Book a window table. Lovely, slightly different from the norm, food. Great location on the harbour front.”
“Great surf beach, surf school based here. Great summer cafe on west beach. ”
“Fresh Fish, great informal vibe, friendly knowledgeable staff. And you get to choose whichever fish you want from the display fridge, how to have it cooked and what sauces or other bits you want with it. Pretty good value though not obviously a cheap place. Best thing though is it is probably the nearest restaurant to the flat.....right out of the door...across the road and along Barnoon Terrace, admiring the views across the harbour to your left, then left and down all the steps at the end on your left...it is right opposite you at the bottom. ”
“Excellent bar and restaurant serving homemade burgers and cake! Good bar scene later in the evenings. ”

“This beach is very family friendly, and has the benefit of the cafe, beach sports, lifeguard and parking. You can walk down from Foxgloves in about 10 minutes. It does take a little longer walking back, up the hill!”
