Want to see the weird side of Portland? Come here. No more than three allowed in a group. No kids. Korean adult films played on the televisions. Excellent drinks and the best Omakase in Portland.

Tanuki is out of this world. . . quirky, creative, fun. A legit Izakaya, and a neat dive bar rolled up into one awesome establishment. Their hours are Thu 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Fri 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Sat 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm. . . I know, weird. but definitely worth it. Their Omakase is amazing, and their drinks very unique. This hidden gem is something to experience when you visit PDX.

This restaurant is just flat out amazing. The chef driven menu with Sake from across Japan will not let you down.
