Cape Byron Distillery
Great place to make a connection between the local rainforest and the bush foods and flavours it produces...as an Eco tour here combined with a gin appreciation lesson will bring it all together
Cape Byron Distillery is perched in the hinterland of Byron Bay. The distillery itself rests amongst the macadamia orchard & rain forest and offers tours and tastings. The distillery was purpose-built on one of the only bare plots of land remaining. Inside you will find their custom-made copper pot…
The home of local favourite 'Brookies Gin' in Byron's stunning hinterland. 20 minutes drive from Bayview.
Take a distillery tour and enjoy the botanicals along the way in the rainforest. Well worth a visit.

“It's one of the most recognisable images in surfing: the poster for the classic 1972 movie Morning of the Earth. The surfer on the left, standing ready to enter the waves at Uluwatu in Bali, is Rusty Miller. Born and raised in California, he settled in Byron in the 1970's. Book a surf session with Rusty or his daughter Tyler. They hold an exclusive license for teaching ‘one-on-ones’ at Watego’s Beach and also at the iconic surfing beach The Pass. Each lesson is 1.5 – 2 hours in duration. For further information and bookings call Rusty on +61 (02) 6685 5776 ”
