Pepito Market is located 650m from VillaRa. Walk from the villa to the main road (JL. Batu Bolong) and turn left. A casual stroll to Pepito takes approx 8 minutes. You will find all sorts of imported and local groceries, vegetables, fruits, freshly baked bread, meat, chicken, fish and alcohol. You will note imported products are rather expensive, this is due to high import taxes imposed by the Indonesian government. Locally produced options are readily available and are safe to consume. Alcohol produced outside of Indonesia attracts up to 150% import duty. If you are looking for a reasonable bottle of wine, don't be afraid to try Two Islands (approx 225,000rp/bottle).
