Shagbark has become a stage for local farmers, fisherman, and artisans, with a kitchen that showcases the enormous bounty of Virginia. Its name comes from a kind of hickory tree that grew along the James River, and accents of Shagbark are woven throughout the restaurant's design.
A MUST for any celebration! A mouth-watering farm-to-table menu that changes seasonally. We have something different every time and LOVE it. Creative cocktails and an impressive wine list!
“For a nicer night out, make a reservation at Demi’s. We recommend the Mediterranean Manhattan, the red pepper & feta hummus, the lamb and the fish! ”

“The Mill serves locally sourced comfort food while accommodating a variety of dietary restrictions. They love little ones and have a mini library of coloring books and crayons to help entertain them! Lindsay’s Fave: the Kale Apple Salad with Grilled Chicken and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Zach’s Fave: Wednesday Wing Night (their house honey habanero sauce is incredible!) and anything they’re serving on tap. ”
