A locals treat. Sit right on the wharf and enjoy your freshly cooked Fish and Chips. Tables are provided and parking outside. In the Tauranga city on the waterfront, approx 4 kms drive.

Local favourite. Best fish and chips in Tauranga. Authentic experience on the old wharf. Expect to wait in line as it is popular. Fee like something else to eat? "The Strand" is the main street that runs from Bobby's Fresh Fish Market through to Starbucks downtown. You will be spoiled for choice for places to eat. If there are no tables available order takeaways and walk along the waterfront toward the city. You can sit on a bench and eat while people-watching and enjoying the boats.

The best fish and chips ever. World famous in New Zealand! The best time to go is mid afternoon when there will not be such a long wait and a table will be available. Eat there...fresh from the sea...fab. Lunchtime and tea time the queue is out the door!

Fresh Fish Market by day and Tauranga's best fish and chip shop all day. Amazing fresh fish that you just can't beat. Eat outside on the waters edge and enjoy the beautiful harbour. Make sure you get a few slices of bread so you can make a chip butty sandwich. Then take a stroll along the waterfront as you gently rub your full belly. p.s. Be prepared for a wait and don't leave it too late as they close at 7pm.
