A lookout tower that you can see the water and forest from. It is situated at the head of a trial that brings you out to Dunks Point. Easy, relatively short walk. The park's visitor centre is also at the same location. Parking may need to be booked in advance.
Be sure to stop here to get trail maps and ask questions to the local guides. The Visitor Centre is open 9:00 am to 7:00 pm with a maximum of 12 visitors inside at any one time The Gallery, Theatre and Viewing Tower will remain closed. Day use trails A 3-km section of the Burnt Point Loop trail runs to the shoreline observation deck, then returns inland. The balance of the trail remains closed due to high water levels. Washrooms are open with enhanced cleaning

The Visitor Centre at the Bruce Peninsula National Park is a great way to soak in a little of the history of the area. Be sure to watch the short movie at the beginning of your visit. Well worth it! Tobermory has a rich maritime past as well as being a unique area in terms of it's natural geology. The Centre has great exhibits that cover many of the interesting facets of this beautiful place.
