Hyde Park is less than one kilometre away. The park is a registered Aboriginal site of significance. It is 15 hectares and is an ideal location for a picnic, barbeque, bike ride or walk around the two lakes. The park has public toilets, a water playground, fitness equipment, walking paths, bbq's, play equipment and often has coffee and food trucks on weekends.
