With a large parking area, 11.6 Hectare Esquimalt Gorge Park offers walking paths through forested areas and along the waterfront. There are perennial borders and a rose garden plus benches and picnic tables are scattered throughout. There is also a Nature House and the beautiful Japanese Garden that has been lovingly restored in recent years, with washrooms available by each of these.

Place where you can take the kids to play. There is a small beach down there and the scenery and walk is very beautiful!

Monday farmers market 430-730pm. Japanese garden. Waterfront walks. Nature sanctuary. Longer walk? Go under the bridge and over to the other side for trails that go in either direction along the water.

Nearby park is a lovely place to go for a walk! Lots of birds + seals call the Gorge Waterway home. Make sure to check out the Japanese Gardens!
