Lovely garden at Santo da Serra. Great for a picnic and a must see if you have children because of the bambis, peacocks and horses.

A romantic garden, lots of space for kids' adventures and a view point over the Machico valley.

Buy your roasted chicken and bolo de caco in the village and take your food to the park for a picnic. Or just walk round and admire the camellias, azaleas, really big and old trees, and the wildlife.
