A wonderful local beach, great for hanging, walking, swimming and just getting away. Only $5 per entry. Lots of parking.

Sandy beach right next to Wells Beach, both are some of the best sandy beaches in Maine. Only a 5 minute walk away.

State controlled fee (at the gate) beach that is perfect for family gatherings or just to bring the kids. Bathroom and changing facilities along with showers.

This Wells beach is probably the closest drive (2.5 mi from cottage) but parking is limited at about 25 spots, and at high tide, there is no beach! The tide comes right up to the sea wall. At low tide, though, check out the tide pools and catch some crabs. Calm waters even at low tide, so good for families with little kiddos.
