Malden and District Society of Model Engineers Ltd. is located in Thames Ditton Surrey. Our miniature railway is known as the Thames Ditton Miniature Railway. The ground level railway is for the large scale trains. The elevated railway is for the smaller scale trains. We have been running passenger trains on the miniature railway for over 66 years.

A great day out for children of all ages, very good value. Cakes, snacks and ice creams reasonably priced too.

It's a fun day for the whole family. The Malden and District Society of Model Engineers Society was founded in 1936 .T he purpose of the Society is to bring together people interested in the construction of models, tools & apparatus; and run and maintaining it's two miniature live steam railways. If you are a steam train enthusiast, this is a must have fun day out. It’s only 30 minutes away on foot. It’s run by volunteers. There’s a small fee like £2.50 for a ride.
