Historic hotel situated right in the centre of Oxford. Home to the historic Morse Bar named after Inspector Morse, serving classic cocktails harking back to the art deco era. Beautiful newly refurbished restaurants inspired by Alice in Wonderland which was written and based on famous Oxford sights.

For Morse fans - Colin Dexter comes into the bar here apparently...also famous Zuleika Dobson pictures by Max Beerbohm are hung in the lounge. Can be good for celeb spotting as artists performing at The Playhouse often stay here. I used to work here as a waitress many years ago! Good for afternoon tea.

Get here to try the wel oxford famous cream tea! £25 but you will feel special! You can not imagine the amount of food the bring with it!

dine in style! this place is posh, elegant, expensive but it is a real treat whether for high tea or lunch/dinner... and yes, of course, the famous 'morse bar'!
