This is beautiful botanical garden with a unique setting for an internationally important collection of 3,000 tropical ferns. A must see garden for those who love nature. The garden has a collection of more than 1, 000 other species of plants, including some endemics and exotic plants from different places in Cuba. The garden is a research establishment carrying out research into the intimate lives of ferns, their preservation and propagation as well of other plants. They offer short technical lecture to visitors.
