The local shop has a cafe and bar that's very popular in the summer.

They’re a small convenience store, off licence and post office. They also sell fresh bread, cakes as well as Cornish pasties. They have a takeaway breakfast and lunch menu. They do a great English breakfast and the crab salad and beefburgers are also yummy. Sometimes they do a pizza night, watch for the board outside and order in advance.

What would we do without Cakebreads,? Open all year round you'll find their home baked bread and cakes, a post office and groceries. They also serve breakfast, lunch and more in the summer. You'' find them 50 yards up from the beach.
