Butler Park in walking distance down the hill (Bouldin or Dawson streets) towards Barton Springs. It has a nice grassy area and trees, and a new family park, and a skyline view of city on top of spiral hill. you can cross the street to Lady Bird Lake

Winding park with city vistas, a night-lit fountain, a pond, walking paths & other features. Additional amenities include Auditorium Shores, The Long Center / Palmer Events, ZACH Theatre, and Butler Shores.

Good area to park or start your hike/jog around the Roy and Ann Butler Hike and Bike trail. There's a little spiral labyrinth that you can walk up, and good people watching in this area. Stevie Ray Vaughan statue is around this area.
