The Retreat is best known for it’s food offering during the day, with pub classics alongside daily changing specials menu cooked with a lighter touch to let the local ingredients shine and a more lively atmosphere in the evening, often with live music.

A low key but nice pub. A favourite after the races - can get really full, so be prepared to be part of a big crowd. Not one for intimate dates.
