Protesters Falls is a waterfall located in the World Heritage Listed Nightcap National Park and named after the Terania Creek protests which took place in the late 1970's. These protests are what saved this beautiful rainforest and is the reason that it stills exists today. Enjoy a picturesque 1.4km return walk through this magnificent rainforest, venturing through the tall trees and listening to the sweet sounds of the running creek. At the end of the track you will arrive at the base of the waterfall. Swimming is not permitted in this area. *check status of roads after flooding.

Beautiful drive up through the Channon and then Terrania Creek to the car park where the wonderful walk starts.... easy for kids with a nice spray of water at the Falls.

Along the way to Protesters Falls, on the left side of the road, there is a hidden swimming spot! Cars are often parked on the bend of the road, between 8km to 9km from a little shop in Channon.
