Just south of Dwight on highway 35 the Frost Centre is the former Ontario Forest Fire Fighting Training Centre. It is currently under major renovations for a new life. This is the start point for a large number of hiking and water trails that spread out across the protected forestry area of the Frost Centre. Ample free parking along with canoe rentals and a small store with snacks. The lake at the launch point is very scenic and great for canoeing and kayaking. The fall colours are well worth the visit in October for an end of season paddle. The trails are also available for winter snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

Gorgeous hiking trails! I could spend hours there, you can also rent canoes for the day at this location.
