Jackrabbit Mountain Trailhead is located in the scenic wooded Nantahala National Forest and offers about 15 miles of single track trails specifically designed for all skill levels. Many of the trails border Lake Chatuge. JackRabbit Mountain, 1203-491, Jack Rabbit Rd, Hayesville, NC 28904, USA

If you're into hiking/biking/running/walking, etc., check out Jack Rabbit. Well maintained and very safe. Trails follow the shore of Lake Chatuge. Multiuse trails abound.

Amazing local trail with hiking, mountain biking, and lake access. 10 mins away.

Once you get to the trailhead, you'll see there are several trails ranging from easy to moderate. These trails are also a mountain bikers paradise!! Pack a lunch or dinner picnic because there are a couple tables you can sit and enjoy your food by the lake before or after your hike :)
