Because you have to have a Black Dog t-shirt if you've been to Martha's Vineyard.

The original Black Dog clothing store is run out of the small red building on water street. Only on-island can you buy the T-Shirts that have the island name and year printed on the back. Never again will you buy Black Dog items from one of their sister off-island chain stores :)
