being situated at the edge of Catskill Forest gives us a lot of great hiking options. We recommend checking out the All Trails app or website for hikes that best suit the experience level and distance you are looking to tackle.

20 min drive in Roscoe, NY. This is at the same location as Russell Brook Falls Mud And Trout Pond are easy, nice woodland hikes which lead to ponds. The Falls are a short walk from the parking lot a nice place to take a dip after your hike. It’s a sweet little spot.

Enjoy this 7.5-mile out-and-back trail near Roscoe, New York. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 53 min to complete. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. You don't need to do the entire route either!
