Trekking within everyone's reach in the Usinavà forest The Usinavà forest falls entirely within the territory of the municipality of Torpè and its acquisition by the Ente Foreste dello Stato dates back to the 1960s. The morphology of the territory and the landscapes are strongly characterised by the geological substratum represented by Paleozoic granites of pink, light grey or white colour, modelled by the atmospheric agents into bizarre and suggestive shapes. Along the watercourses there are riparian formations consisting mainly of willows and tamarisks. This itinerary is an easy walk for everyone and offers the possibility of observing a good part of our flora (the vegetation is represented by holm oak woods and above all by scrubland and garrigue) and a rich and varied fauna (in addition to the mouflon, which was reintroduced to the area some time ago, there are also the golden eagle, the buzzard, the Sardinian partridge, the wild cat, the marten, the weasel and the Sardinian hare). There are equipped areas for resting and toilets.

La foresta di Usinavà (Torpé) rappresenta un itinerario e una passeggiata alla portata di tutti e offre la possibilità di osservare buona parte della flora locale (la vegetazione è rappresentata da boschi di leccio e soprattutto da macchie e garighe) e della fauna ricca e varia (oltre al muflone, da tempo reintrodotto nell’area, sono presenti l’aquila reale, la poiana, la pernice sarda, il gatto selvatico, la martora, la donnola, la lepre sarda). Presenti spazi attrezzati per la sosta e servizi igienici.
