At Tromsø Museum you can travel from the depth of the Arctic sea all the way up to the atmosphere to learn about the Arctic life and nature. The gift shop is nice, with authentic Sami and Norwegian silver and wool handicrafts.

Tromsø Museum is a regional museum established on October 16, 1872. It is part of the University Museum in Tromsø. The museum is located near the southern tip of Tromsøya, but in 2016 construction of new buildings was decided in the center of Tromsø

“Polaria is an adventure center, aquarium and museum that was opened in May 1998. Polaria has a well-developed aquarium with Arctic sea plants, Arctic fish and animals. There are water tanks in the floors, walls and ceilings and glass tunnels that visitors can go under while seals swim over their heads.”
