Vrbnik is a medieval town located on a hill and surrounded by the Adriatic Sea. At the summit of the hill, there is a Bell Tower with a Glagolitic inscription above the entrance, which was built in 1527. For a time, it was also used as a prison.

Vrbnik is an ancient place where you are walking on foot. Known for its excellent white wine, called Vrbnička žlahtina which is worth testing. You will find the best in the famous Vrbnic wine cellar, where you will also be served homemade sheep cheese and prosciutto. In the same cellar you can also enjoy sparkling wine (champagne), ripened in the sea for 2 years. Or you'll want fresh fried sardines (not before 11 a.am.) along with wine. Parking is near the cellar (100 m before)
