From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia WebsiteCabots Landing Provincial Park Cabots Landing Provincial Park[1] is a small picnic and beach park on the shore of Aspy Bay in the community of Sugarloaf, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is believed by some sources that John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto) landed at Aspy Bay in 1497. Cabots Landing Provincial Park features a National Historic Site cairn and bust commemorating the landfall. This picnic and hiking park is managed by the provincial Department of Natural Resources and features picnic tables in an open field on a bluff overlooking a mile-long beach.

A beautiful beach in the stunning north part of Cape Breton near Saint Margaret Village & Bay St Lawrence. This is where the snow crab boats come in, and whale-watching departures
I probably shouldn't list this - but hey - the world should know about it. Bring your lunch and some wine - stay for the day and play in the waves. No overnight camping :(
