Puerto Plata is only 20 min. from Sosua, This place is just in front of the Cathedral and are very famous for the flavours, like "Uva de playa (seagrapes)" , they are mostly sorbets and are worth to try.

There is a little ice cream shop across from the city center square in Puerto Plata. They serve pastries, assorted snacks, ice creams, gelato, and assorted beverages. We have been there several times over the past years and our visit has never been a disappointment. It's a nice refreshing treat when you take a tour of the city center.
