The park has wonderful facilities including all abilities playground, barbecue facilities, public amenities, Visitor Information Centre, off the leash dog park, and plenty of off street parking and an abundance of bird life.

Such a lovely park, situated at the southern entrance to Gympie,known to locals as the Duck Ponds. There’s a path that meanders around the whole park to walk or ride on. A fantastic kids play area under the cover of big shady trees and some sails along with BBQ facilities. Next to it is the Gympie Gold and Mining Museum, a cafe and markets are held every 1st, 3rd & 5th Sunday of the month. Dual street access from the Bruce highway and Brisbane Road.
