Here's where I get groceries, about a 20 minute walk. Nice staff, good produce, and super-store prices. Cross Lorne Avenue and walk east down 4th Ave until you get to Clarence Avenue, turn right (south) three blocks. Gord's No Frills is in the strip mall on the corner of Clarence and Taylor.
