Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs
Go for a soak at natural hot springs set in our beautiful Colorado mountains. The drive is on scenic and mountainous dirt road. I recommend using their shuttles in the winter.
Want to relax after a long day on the slopes, can't beat the natural hot springs located just outside of town.
There are two geothermal hot springs in Steamboat. Of the two, choose Strawberry park for it's immersive nature experience, the natural rock pools and sandy gravel bottoms. $15 cash only to get in, 4WD or AWD required, clothing optional after dark.
Gorgeous natural hot springs! Nothing like you've ever seen before. The road to get to the hot springs can be a bit tricky in the winter so make sure you have an appropriate car.
Steamboat is an outdoor activity paradise. What better way to recoup and recover from a hard day of playing than kicking back and enjoying the hot spring?
“This place has something for everyone. There is pavement with mild changes in elevation to much more invigorating climbs. The views are all spectacular and I've personally seen a moose when visiting. Pro Travel Tip: Want to explore a lot more trails, download a free app like "All Trails", no sign up either. ”
“Hike to see frozen or rushing waterfall with hikers and ice climbers abound. Uranium Mine Trail is a great secret alternative with lovely valley and waterfall views (steep to start, but eases out)”
“About 35 minutes north of us, (easy, lovely drive) beautiful lake and surrounding area. In winter, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling. In summer, camping, boating, mountain biking, trails, nature hikes and activities at the Steamboat Lake Visitor's Center. Historic Hahn's Peak Village, museum, or hike Hahn's Peak. On the way there, stop by the Clark Store for lunch (and ice cream in the summer months)! ”
“Winter Tubing, Sleigh Rides, Snowmobiling (one of my favorites), Horsebacking and so much more. Get your adventure on!”
