Humlegården is a major park in Östermalm in Stockholm. It is the location of the Royal Library and in the centre of the park is a large statue of Carl von Linné, better known as Linnaeus.
It is "our" beautiful garden just 100 meters from the doorstep. If you are out for a short jog, go here. If the kids want to play there is a really nice playground in the upper part of the park. You can buy hotdogs or bring your own and put on the barbecue that is lit from lunch until the afternoon…
Swings, slides, trains, tricycles...name it, Parklek in Humlegården has it. It has different fenced-off areas, which means that kids can run around without parents fearing that they will lose them!
“Here you can enjoy dinner or something to drink in the sun, they have tables both inside and out.”
“Close, five minute walk down to Strandvägen. Excellent food and atmosphere on Strandvägen overlooking the water. Fun crowd and a local favorite. Excellent staff and sun all evening and afternoon if you get an outside table.”
“Very close in the same block just around the corner. Cool vibe, nice staff and Swedish/french fusion food. ”
“Nice popular restaurant in downtown Stockholm with an industrial-chic vibe & a menu of updated classic Swedish dishes.”
