There are several great food places at Freighthouse Square, from coffee to Mexican food. Definitely try the Garlic Chicken at Wendy's. There are also several quaint shops and an art museum.

Big green building just up the hill a couple blocks featuring quirky shopping mall and local food vendors. Think of the food as indoor food trucks; lots of quick, tasty, and cheap options. The historic building is a circa-1909 railroad building

So MUCH fun! Lots of tiny, interesting shops, tasty food stalls, & the best Belgian Waffles this side of Belgium! Within walking distance of the Tacoma Dome.
