ou should really take a walk up to the top of Queen Street, turn right down Karangahape Road stop in at the shops, cafes etc and have a look around. You can continue all the way down (20 minute) walk or so and turn right down Ponsonby Road and watch the scenery change.

The Viaduct and the walk on the way down there is quite spectacular at night with buskers, dancers and party goers. The viaduct has a lot of bars and restaurants and is a great walk in the evenings

This is an excellent spot in a great neighbourhood with stunning views and exhibits. You can walk there so go for a daytime mission and get some exercise in, or catch a bus and walk up the hill, or order an Uber and arrive in class. There is a fee to enter so make sure to Google that or call ahead.
