Spend time exploring downtown; there is much to do in the downtown Chattanooga area. The Chattanooga Choo Choo is very neat; there are historic Civil War-era things to see if you look for those, factories you can tour, boat excursions on the Tennesee River, hiking, swimming, kayaking.
