Oceans Rest is just 200 metres away from the beautiful beach and cliffs of Portreath. It is a quirky cottage full of character. A part of the cottage is 300 years old and was the village fishmongers with the original flag stones in the current kitchen and old pot bellied stove and the front cottage is about 200 years old with thick walls. There are panoramic views of the beach and harbour and out to sea from a private terrace up the cliff, accessed from the top of the house.
Situated in a fantastic position with sea/beach view, right on the North Coast Path and about 100 metres from beach. Located on Cornwall's North Coast between St Ives and Newquay at the 'quiet' end of the beach, known as 'Smugglers Cove', easily reached on a small road with private parking. The village is in easy walking distance providing Shops, Restaurants and 3 Pubs and Takeaways Safe, sandy beach patrolled by lifeguards and also ideal for surfing.
