Elegant Farm Stay- 20 minutes from Nashville!

This AGRITOURISM DESTINATION invites you to experience a different pace of life on 96 acres of farmland, cattle pastures, ponds, and even a waterfall. Gather wood for the fire-pit and roast some s'mores, catching the sun's last rays from the back deck. Interior highlights include barn-wood details and a steam shower. Enjoy your stay knowing... all surfaces are sanitized and all linens, duvet covers and blankets are washed between guests. Sheets are provided in case you would like to cover the sofa to lounge comfortably, assurd that everything is sanitized just for you. Agritourism activities may be arranged prior to your stay for a real 'hands on' experience of a working farm. This is a working farm so you may hear the tractor tilling or our cows mooing. The entire apartment and balcony is yours to enjoy. In the apartment you will find a map with information as to where you can explore . There are several ponds (including one pond you can fish) on the farm and when we are not in a dry spell, a small waterfall. Feel free to gather some wood and roast s'mores or hotdogs over the fire pit. I’m happy to meet you when you arrive to answer any questions. If you prefer your privacy that is fine too. You may reach me by text or email. Even though the farm is an easy drive from downtown Nashville, this agricultural community feels like its from a quieter, more relaxing time. Fish in one of the ponds, pick berries, and head out for long, peaceful hikes in almost any direction. Uber is available from the farm. We are on the North side of Nashville. It takes less time (about 30 minutes) to drive to downtown than it does driving a few blocks in some more congested areas of Nashville. You may encounter other folks who live and work on the farm. Feel free to ask questions about our farm mission to help feed the hungry. The apartment is completely yours so if you want privacy that is totally available as well.

The Tree House, Admire Pristine Mountain View’s

Gather around a modern table for dinner with mountain views visible through picture windows and sliding glass. Pop open a cold drink and have a seat on a sunny deck, or recline in a leather armchair beside the wood-burning stove in the living room. The Tree House is a 2 bedroom 1 bath A-frame cabin built in 1971 overlooking the trees. Our home has a beautiful picture window that allows for amazing scenery as you sit and enjoy friends & family inside or on the deck. Our home was renovated by us in 2017/2018, it has been so much fun to be hands on while our vision has come together to give an industrial rustic feel. The Tree House can be used as a base camp as it is centrally located in the NC mountains ...10 Minutes to Historic Flat Rock & the Flat Rock Play House, 15 minutes to downtown Hendersonville, 15 Minutes to Dupont State Park, 20 Minutes to Brevard, 35 Minutes to Tryon Equestrian Center, 45 Minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, 45 Minutes to Asheville, & 45 minutes to Greenville, SC. Once you head up the driveway you will have parking for 3 vehicles on the parking pad. Do not park in the garage. Please use caution when pulling in and backing around deck support poles. Guests will have access to the entire property minus one owners closet with a pad lock. Available as needed by text, phone, email. I will be happy to recommend cool restaurants, breweries and area attractions. We love to hike so we can provide suggestions on hikes in the area. The cabin is set a top a plot of land along a private gravel road, yet only minutes by car from downtown Hendersonville’s dining and shopping. Pay a visit to Carl Sandburg's Home, then grab a cold one at Oklawaha Brewing Company. A vehicle is reccomended We have a Insignia Roku TV & DVD player. The TV is attached to an antenna with about 15 stations and it has apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Google Play, & Sling. Guest will have to use their account logins for the apps

Visit Civil War Sites from a Private Stone Cottage

Host a dinner for eight around a rustic table then retire to a comfy living room under the crystal chandelier. Whitewashed brick and timber walls provide a stylish backdrop in rooms filled with unique furnishings and original artwork. Whether it’s a family retreat, a corporate day meeting, or video/photo shoot, you will love the cozyness and warmth of The Rock House on Battle Ave. A local interior decorator, known for her eclectic farm + modern style, and her husband purchased “The Rock House” from an estate and began creating this cozy abode. The new open floor plan connects two large living spaces, with a centrally located kitchen and half bath, creating a functional and homey flow. In addition, the downstairs includes two bedrooms, with a master bath connected to the master bedroom. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms that share a large bathroom. The nooks, angles, exposed beams and raw wood, combined with the timeless stone exterior, will make you feel like you have arrived at the country cottage you have always dreamed of. This is a full house rental with parking for 3-4 cars. Laundry Room with Washer and Dryer. The stone garage has a ping-pong table for family fun and the back den is full of board games, or you can enjoy the back yard fire pit. Split firewood onsite. The owners live in Franklin and are accessible if needed. Just send us a message and we will respond within minutes. Franklin is a quiet neighborhood destination for relaxing. It's a great launching point for exploring all that Middle Tennessee has to offer. The house is a couple of blocks from historic Civil War sites, and a shady 20-minute walk to downtown shops. The shaded walk to downtown is through quiet streets. Take a right and stroll down Battle Ave, then a quick leap over Columbia to Gist, then a left on Adams, left on 5th and arrive in the heart of Franklin.
