Bayview Cottage on the Atlantic

Nestled at the head of Pigeon Hill Bay, our cottage is surrounded by 20 acres of fields, marshland, private walking paths, and a private pebble beach on the ocean with views of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is nearby (1 hour plus) or take the ferry (20 minutes away) to BarHarbor. Acadia Park Schoodic Point is a must see (20 minutes). Enjoy our kayaks, our recommended day trips, blueberry picking, visiting white-tailed deer. For a full week stay we serve a lobster shore dinner for two.

Located in the heart of the castalia marsh, a world known bird sanctuary, there is no shortage of wild life which is perfect for nature and bird lovers. Stunning views of the swallow tail lighthouse and the ferry coming and going from the island can be seen from the master bedroom upstairs or private backyard deck and patio. Hummingbird Hollow, aka Schoppee House, is a lovingly updated two bedroom cottage nestled between the ocean and state park land. Enjoy ocean views, salt air, and the sound of waves. A quick walk to the beach or pond, you’re not too far away to run back for lunch or take an afternoon nap. Also, the house is fully heated and is suitable for the cooler months!

Cobscook Lodge faces west for perfect water sunsets, with 1/3 mile of private bay shoreline, and 30 wooded acres to explore. Cliffs, ledges, pebble beaches, observation points, and 21 foot tides make for any adventure. The Bold Coast’s 43 parks (incl the 20 parklands of Cobscook Shores) with 150 miles of trails and 90 miles of coastline, is a rare wild getaway.
