Cook with the best Italian chefs ever: obviously our grandmas, the Nonnas from Palombara! The grannies of our small village will show you how to prepare the perfect handmade pasta—no machines, just your hands, the freshest local ingredients, and love. All of these women started to make pasta in their childhood, keeping alive a tradition that is slowly disappearing. And they are ready to pass it to you! You’ll be part of our crazy big family for a day and join us as we walk the tiny medieval streets of Palombara Sabina to Grandma’s kitchen, located in the old winepress where our great-grandpas used to make wine that the community tapped straight from the barrel (or in Grandma's home... according to the weather). It's a special place for our family and the entire village. We will cook Ravioli, Fettuccine and Farfalle... you will be in a food coma at the end of the experience! Mosaic is an ancient art form that immortalized both everyday and mythological scenes from the Roman Empire. For over 200 years, the Cassio family has kept this tradition. You are invited to our historic studio in the bustling Monti neighborhood where we will share ancient secrets about the craft that you can apply to your own work of art. Surrounded by original tools, sketches by famous Italian artists, and important mosaic masterpieces, you will learn about distinctly Roman techniques. During this course, you will create your own unique piece of art — utilizing the principles of texture, composition, and marble tile cutting in the process. A master mosaicist will guide you based on ancient Roman mosaic rules and methods. You will leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind, 7 by 5 inch masterpiece to commemorate your time in the Eternal City. Please note, this workshop requires handling various tools. For safety reasons, we recommend this experience to those over the age of 12.

Valeria Merlini and Daniela Storti, among the leading Italian experts in restoration and conservation, who have restored numerous masterpieces including three paintings by Caravaggio, offer visitors the chance to understand the importance of the artisanal aspect of an artist’s creative work in a journey that will enrich people’s relationship with art. In our atelier, guests will experience art in a direct and intimate way, being able to observe from up close the restorers’ work and learning about the fascinating world of art techniques and materials. At the end of this exclusive artistic experience, we like to offer our guests a small aperitif, that includes a glass of prosecco or wine and a few traditional Italian snacks.

We'll have a day trip through the woods in the mountain South-East of Rome, hunting truffles with the help of trained dogs, we will pass through areas rich in history of outstanding natural beauty. After the trip we will go to have lunch at my place, we will learn how to cook truffles dishes and we'll eat them for lunch with a very good wine. I will cook for you many different courses, all with fresh truffles! You will can taste many different combinations with fresh truffles. Other things to note: The truffle hunting takes place on a mountain terrain, so be prepared to it. This experience is also perfect for teams and team-building.

一天三场农场体验

Immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside with 3 different experiences! We will meet in Florence, an authorized driver will take you to our farm in just 35 minutes. What will we do? 1 - Walk among country fields, ancient olive trees and vineyards, enjoy the landscape, the plants, the explanation of our history, an occasion to take photos in the suggestive setting. Maybe you will meet our funny domesticated pig! In September taste the grapes! 2 - Visit the cellar and taste 5 organic Tuscan wines: white & red, aged directly from the barrel, and "vin santo" a traditional sweet wine. Then you can taste olive oil, we will delight you with a short film about our mission. You have the opportunity to buy wines at cellar prices, or order them to ship. 3 The last part is dedicated to making fresh pasta, with Raffaella or Laura, they teach the secrets to make pasta like Ravioli! The pasta will be mixed and cooked together with that of the others, it will not be possible to do individual cooking. Of course, we will eat them together at a long table as in an Italian family. During lunch will be served our wine. One of our co-hosts will make sure that you can be the protagonist! We will be about 16 participants. Transport by van, with driver, from Florence is included. Attention: the return is by train to Florence, the most ecological and comfortable way to avoid traffic.

Wine and olive oil will be matched with our truffle products, homemade focaccia, local meat, cheese and vegetables from our garden. Walk maps of the valley can be provided upon request and visitors are welcome to stay after the tasting and enjoy a walk around the farm. Guests reach Piazza San Giovanni, the magnificent Square of Baptistery, where historic buildings (such as the Palazzo del Magnifico and the Archiepiscopal Curia) are erected and the back of the Cathedral, sparkling with white and black marble and the majestic staircase. At the entrance of the first builidng, at the reception the guests can admire the original drawing of the Baptistery of Siena, unfinished due to the plague and two drawings made by famous architects, Louis Khan and Le Corbusier whose originals are no longer in Italy. Once here, guests have to go down, reaching an unique and inaccessible place, where the water once flowed. The "bottini" are buildings of medieval origin that brought water to the city of Siena. You will see a medieval well, an Etruscan hut dating back over 2500 years and a sandstone sediment dating back over 1 million years ago when Siena was below sea level. There you can see historical fossils. You will see another "bottino" as well used also as jail by The Noble Pandolfo Petrucci. After you can enjoy the real and unique experience of the wine tasting in our wineshop. Once the experience is over, guests can buy some bottles as a souvenir.

We going to start with a little introduction to the ingredients, after that we are going to do the dough and you will be able to prepare you own pasta from scratch!
