The grounds are a haven for wildlife and, in May/June, fireflies, also having a number of fruit trees, which can be freely picked in season. Good local shops provide fresh local food and wine and the area is well served for meals out by local restaurants. The house is ideal for those wanting a quiet holiday in spectacular Italian countryside.

De gemeentelijke toegangsweg naar het terrein is van grind, hobbelig en een beetje steil. Het is af te raden om in het donker aan te komen.
