Edge of Petit Manan Wildlife Refuge. Your log cabin is attached to host residence. Entire small cabin is your private space. Solar powered electricity. Water - rainwater filtration system. Compost toilet in full bathroom is private. Shower propane heated, in antique claw-foot tub. Resident may occasionally enter outhouse shed. Wifi & cell phone signal are fairly consistent. Bring flashlights. Bring food for first night. People with mobility issues may find this property challenging.

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Cozy Glamping in Steuben near Acadia w/ Fire Pit!

Just off Route 1 in Steuben, you’ll be in a secluded fenced in area. With a fire pit to sit around and a bbq grill to cook on, you’ll love being on the edge of the Maine woods! Although you’ll be somewhat close to neighbors, you’ll have a lot of space to yourself. My parents own a total of 4 acres in this location so you’ll have plenty of privacy. We are close to the quieter side of Acadia National Park, the Schoodic Peninsula! It’s worth visiting. We are about 50 mins to Bar Harbor.

Located on 2.5 acres of ocean frontage with easy access to the waters edge to launch your kayak. Cabin includes all the amenities including open floor plan and Rinnai propane heater. Firepit is ready for hours of fun, story telling and toasting marshmallows.

Oceanfront cabin perched on the edge of Dyer Bay surrounded by large cedar and spruce trees. A perfect retreat nestled in a quiet, private neighborhood off the beaten path. This is where you get away from it all, and enjoy proximity to all the best of Downeast. The view is spectacular, and wildlife abounds. Watch the lobster boats work their traps just in front of the house. Not appropriate for small children. Sorry, NO PETS , we're allergic :-(
