This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. It is a very short walk to Ajo’s Spanish Revival Plaza, our historic churches and the Curley School. The plaza has art galleries, a coffee shop, yoga studio, restaurant, gym, library and more. There are local hiking and biking attractions and we are a short drive to Organ Pipe National Monument and the Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge. Nearby is access to BLM land and the start of the famous El Camino de Diablo.

'The Artists Cottage'

This was an Artists Studio until it took on its new life as a Casita. It did keep a little of its cheery and colorful attitude when making the change but the overall setting is peaceful and the Sunrises can be glorious. We are within walking distance to the center of town, or . . . a short walk in the opposite direction takes you up on a popular desert hiking/biking/driving trail. This is a Studio (one room) casita with a separate full bath with walk-in shower.

The front room has a 50” tv where you can enjoy Netflix or YouTube. You can walk to the plaza, restaurants (home is located right by agave grill) Circle-k, gas stations and the dollar store easily.
