旅行者建议

不要错过

Music is in our blood.

You don’t have to go to the quarter to find good music. In fact, once you’ve gone once, you don’t need to go to the quarter, at all. There is so much more our city has to offer!
实用短语

Speaking

We “make groceries,” here. If you say anything else, it’s a giveaway you’re not from here. Which doesn’t matter anyway because we are such a friendly, accepting people. Also, don’t be surprised to become instant friends with total strangers almost anywhere you go. We are known for a genuine hospitality and friendliness. So, if someone asks “how ya doin?” They really want to know.
出行

This goes for phrases and transit

We have “street cars” not trolleys and you can still get a lot of places using them. There’s an app for that. Great way to see parts of the city.
习俗和文化

Say “hello”

We are very friendly and consider it rude if you do not speak back to us. Don’t be surprised if you make instant friends with total strangers anywhere you go. Obviously, use your common sense but for the most part people are open and honest and when they ask how you are, they really want to know.
