Located in historic uptown New Orleans Audubon Park is a favorite spot for recreation, picnics or enjoying a beautiful day. People have visited the Park to take full advantage of this urban oasis.
We locals like to go up to the river behind the Zoo (an area called the fly) & sit & watch the sunset on the Mississippi River.
Audubon Park is located uptown, across the street from Tulane and Loyola Universities. It's easily accessible by the St. Charles Streetcar. You can also access the Audubon Zoo by walking through the park toward Magazine St.
A lovely park. You may book a horseback riding at Cascade Stables for a relaxing ride through the park.
