There are a few local options for places to eat in Government Camp and all are within walking distance of the condo.
Charlies is your classic ski town bar with history on the walls and ceilings. It is open until 2:30am and also serves breakfast from 8-11am on Saturdays and Sundays.

They have great locally brewed beer and fill Growlers as well. The menu rotates seasonally, but is always of high quality. They do have a happy hour from 4-6 daily.

The Rat is where ya go to get pizza to go or eat it there and watch some sports. It's an all ages place so gets busy on the weekends.

Sightseeing

Our little village is close to a few great things to see.
Walk up to the museum and check out not only the history of this area, but the history of skiing. Check out all the levels of the place and they also have a nice gift shop.

The historic Timberline lodge is full of history, and not just because the outside was used in the shining as the "overlook hotel". You can drive up, so take the Mt. Hood Express for $2 each way.

Ski Bowl is great night skiing in the winter, and has tons of summer time activities.

Great in the summer and winter with a perfect view of Mt. Hood. They stock trout in it during the summer, and during the winter you have to snowshoe or cross country ski in. Just watch out in the weekends, it does get quite busy.
